JCDecaux: wins major contract in Berlin
(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux has announced that its German subsidiary Wall GmbH has won a call to tender for the supply, installation and operation of automatic public toilets in Berlin, where it has been operating public toilets financed by OOH advertising revenues, since 1992.
This new 15-year contract (with a two-year extension option) will start on 1 January 2019. Wall will supply, install and operate 193 new fully automatic sanitary facilities and will be in charge of operating 37 existing toilet facilities.
Berlin will be able to order an additional 109 automatic public toilets and entrust Wall with the operation of 30 existing toilets. Wall will receive 235.9 million euros over 15 years for this service, if all options are exercised.
