Assystem: sale of GPS to Ardian finalised.

As announced on 11 May, on Thursday Assystem sold its outsourced R&D division Global Product Solutions, which represents a major step in the group's history.
This division has been bought by a special purpose acquisition entity that is 60%-controlled by Ardian and 40%-controlled by Assystem, which will therefore benefit from the new entity's potential for growth and value creation.
As expected, the transaction has been completed for a total value of 550 million euros, with Assystem estimating net cash proceeds resulting from it at 400 million euros.
