Safran: inaugurates new plant in Hamburg
(CercleFinance.com) - The Safran group today announced the inauguration of the new Safran Nacelles plant, in Hamburg (Germany).
This site is dedicated to the integration of the nacelle of the Airbus A320neo. It covers 20,000 m2 of land and 8,000 m2 of buildings and has almost 70 employees, a workforce that is planned to be increased to about one hundred by 2020. With four lines of four assembly stations engine liners, it will deliver 33 nacelles per month in 2020.
