Safran: JIM Compact to equip seven NATO countries.
(CercleFinance.com) - Safran has announced that Safran Electronics & Defense's JIM Compact (multifunction infrared binoculars) now equips the armed forces of seven NATO countries.
These binoculars were unveiled at Eurosatory in 2016.
Safran said in its press release that JIM Compact has been recognised as the best solution for missions of special forces. It meets the strategic needs of information, observation and targeting of the ISTAR forces: Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition & Recognition).
JIM Compact benefits from the success of the JIM family, 10,000 examples of which are in service or which have been ordered in around 40 countries.
