Safran: shareholders approve Zodiac acquisition.
(CercleFinance.com) - The combined Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Safran met yesterday under the chairmanship of Ross McInnes, Chairman of the Board.
Philippe Petitcolin, CEO and Bernard Delpit, CFO of the Group reviewed Safran's activity in 2016, its annual results and the outlook for 2017, as well as the major strategic challenges.
Safran's planned acquisition of Zodiac Aerospace was presented to all the shareholders in attendance.
Ross McInnes declared "I am delighted with the mark of confidence of our shareholders, who approved massively the financial resolutions ensuring the advancement of our plan to acquire Zodiac Aerospace".
