Alten: Q3 sales up 9.1%
(CercleFinance.com) - Alten has published Q3 sales of E3,037m, up 9.
1% y-o-y, with growth, in both France (+9.8%, to E963m), and internationally (+8.8%, to E2,073m).
Most business sectors reported growth, in particular Civil Aeronautics, Automotive, Defence & Security, Industry and Electronics.
Alten also points out that almost all geographical regions reported growth on a cumulative basis, although Germany, Scandinavia and North America slowed sharply in the third quarter.
The engineering and technology consulting group considers that it achieved satisfactory business growth to the end of September, in line with its expectations, and points out that the deceleration in organic growth during 2023 reflects the normalisation of the economy.
Even if the pace of growth slows down, Alten expects organic growth of around 9% in 2023, a figure that it considers "satisfactory". It also says that it will continue its strategy of targeted external growth.
