TF1: record start to new season following auduence figures
(CercleFinance.com) - TF1 has announced that it recorded the strongest growth among all target audiences in September, and thus mentiond "a record autumn" for the group.
In detail, it recorded a 27.5% audience share in the 4+ age group (+1.8 pt y-o-y) and a 34.2% audience share in the 15-49 age group (+0.7 pt).
The group reported its best month of the year in the 25-49 age group, with a 32% audience share (+2.2 pt), and in the 15-34 age group, with a 34.9% audience share (+2 pt).
The TF1 channel in particular benefited from the Rugby World Cup effect. The opening match, France v. New Zealand, attracted 15.6 million viewers, the best audience of the year.
Between the beginning of the year and the end of August, live and streaming viewing of TF1 programs reached 8.5 billion hours.
