Ubisoft: several directors quit
(CercleFinance.com) - At the weekend Ubisoft announced a number of departures from its management team, which the company says follows an in-depth review that the company conducted in response to recent allegations and accusations of misconduct and inappropriate behaviour.
As such, Serge Hascoët has resigned from his post as chief creative officer, with immediate effect. In the interim, his role will be assumed by the company's CEO Yves Guillemot, who will personally supervise a complete overhaul of the collaboration of its creative teams.
Meanwhile, Yannis Mallat, head of Canadian studios, is leaving his duties and the company with immediate effect. Furthermore, Ubisoft will appoint a new human resources officer, replacing Cecile Cornet, who has decided to resign.
