Atos: update on sale of Tech Foundations
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos has provided an update on the planned sale of Tech Foundations to the EPEI group.
Atos believes that the proposed sale is the most feasible way to achieve the separation of Tech Foundations and Eviden, and to improve its risk profile.
The consultation process with employee representative bodies is ongoing with the Societas Europea Council (SEC) and at a local level, with most of the pre-notifications or notifications for regulatory approvals with the relevant jurisdictions having been filed.
If the transaction with EPEI does not take place, Atos will need to access the capital markets (debt and equity) and/or consider the sale of additional assets, in order to ensure adequate liquidity to meet debt maturities in 2025.
