Atos: appoints new CEO
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that, following the recommendations of the Nominations and Governance Committee, its Board of Directors has appointed Yves Bernaert as Chief Executive Officer.
His appointment is effective as of today, and he will be proposed for election to the Board of Directors at the AGM.
In his new role, Yves Bernaert's first task will be to successfully complete the next stages of the transformation plan, and to accelerate the turnaround of the IT services group's businesses.
Should the Board decide to finalise the separation into two separate companies, he will then be exclusively responsible for developing the new Eviden Group.
In addition, Caroline Ruellan has decided to resign from the Board of Directors. She has been replaced as a member of the Appointments and Governance Committee by Carlo d'Asaro Biondo.
