Atos: selected by ESA for R&D project
(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the European Space Agency (ESA) to develop a product to improve the cyber security of the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) platforms that test the electrical systems of satellites before launch.
Atos will work to design systems that prevent and block cyber attacks aimed at taking control of or damaging satellites or test equipment during the test phase.
In addition, on its Cyber Day, Atos announced the launch of a “sovereign data” version of its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service, a cyber security cloud offering powered by its BullSequan servers.
The company took the opportunity to state that this offering is now net zero, which it says is a major milestone in the NetZero journey of Atos' Digital Security business.
