Sopra Steria: buys Cabinet Offices's stsake in SSCL
(CercleFinance.com) - After ten successful years delivering significant savings to the UK taxpayer, Sopra Steria announces plans to acquire 100% of Shared Services Connected Ltd (SSCL), its joint venture with Cabinet Office in the UK.
The French IT services group will acquire Cabinet Office's 25% stake for £82.3m in cash. This transaction will be have an accretive impact on Sopra Steria's net income and EPS from day one.
SSCL provides mission-critical support services to the UK Government, Ministry of Defence, Metropolitan Police Service and Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
