Mersen: finalises acquisition of Idealec
(CercleFinance.com) - Mersen announces that it has finalised the acquisition of Idealec, a company that is specialised in the design and manufacture of hot rolled busbars, a deal which is for a non-significant amount.
The electrical specialties and graphite-based materials group explains that this transaction will enable its electrical power division to expand its customer portfolio, particularly with contractors in the railway and energy sectors.
Based in Pontarlier and Shanghai, Idealec employs around 50 people and generates sales of almost seven million euros. The business will be consolidated in Mersen's accounts as from today.
