Eurofins: acquisition in Japan
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurofins Scientific announces the acquisition of Taiyo Techno Research, a company specialising in asbestos testing, the fastest growing environmental testing segment in Japan.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Following this acquisition, the French bio-analytical service provider believes that it will become the leading provider of asbestos testing and, overall, the number one provider of environmental tests in Japan.
Having laboratories in the Hokuriku region, on the north coast of the main island of Honshu, Taiyo Techno Research has over 45 employees and posted revenues of around five million euros in 2020.
