Eurofins: acquisition in Japan
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurofins Scientific has announced signing an agreement with Noritsu Koki to acquire GeneTech, described as "the pioneer in non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) and a leading player in genetic analysis in Japan".
The company has over 35 employees and generated sales exceeding 10 million euros last year. Eurofins did not specify the financial terms of the deal.
The acquisition of GeneTech will enable the Eurofins to "the leader in the NIPT market in Japan with significant scale advantages over its competitors in the area and will further expand its global service offering," in this field.
