Eurofins Scientific: takes over Dermscan
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurofins Scientific has announced that it has finalised the acquisition of Laboratoire Dermscan SAS, a provider of testing services for cosmetics and personal care products.
The terms of the deal were not specified.
Dermscan offers over 200 different tests and clinical studies in dermatology. It employs more than 150 people in its laboratories in France, Poland, Tunisia, Mauritius and Thailand and is expected to generate revenue exceeding 12 million euros in 2018.
"Following the acquisition of CRL in the US in September, Eurofins became the global leader in Cosmetic & Personal Care product Testing, with a network of 40 state-of-the-art laboratories," says the bio-analysis services group.
