Air France: huge firm order of 60 A220-300
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France has announced the firm order of 60 A220-300 aircraft, with 30 options and 30 acquisition rights, which will gradually replace Air France's A318 and A319 fleet.
Deliveries of the first aircraft are expected to begin in September 2021.
The group also announces the release of 10 A380s from the Air France fleet by 2022, and the study of the replacement of A380s by new generation aircraft. Five of these aircraft are owned and two are under leases.
Air France-KLM operates a fleet of 541 aircraft for its three main banners, Air France, KLM and Transavia, to 318 destinations worldwide.
