Air France: new offers for Alitalia?
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM and EasyJet have teamed up with Cerberus Capital Management to make a joint offer for Alitalia, Bloomberg says.
Air France has reportedly denied its interest in Alitalia, while EasyJet would be interested in an offer as part of a restructured Alitalia, Aurel BGC says in its daily equity report. EasyJet would also like to make an offer as part of a consortium with members who have not been disclosed.
Remember that Lufthansa has also expressed an interest in Alitalia. The German airline does not intend to make a global offer and specifically targets European and domestic flights.
