Air France: joins venture joint KLM - Kenya Airways
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France has announced that it has joined the KLM - Kenya Airways joint venture.
The company is now part of the joint-venture agreement that has been in place since 1995 between KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Kenya Airways - a member of SkyTeam - which strengthens the group's offer in East Africa.
Air France, KLM and Kenya Airways clients will be able to book code-share flights by one of the three airlines on flights between Paris-Nairobi and Amsterdam-Nairobi. Travellers will benefit from 24 daily flights between the Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Amsterdam-Schiphol and Nairobi hubs.
"With this new agreement, customers will benefit from a streamlined travel experience between Europe and East Africa through the three hubs and improved connections to 26 beyond Nairobi's destinations," the group said.
