Air France-KLM: traffic up 3.1% in December

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced a 3.
1% increase in passenger numbers in December, based on capacities that are up 2.6%, which has resulted in a 0.4-point improvement in the airline's load factor to 85.9%.

The airline said that it transported some 6.6 million passengers (+2.6%) under its Air France, KLM and Hop! banners, despite disturbances over a few days caused by snow at the Amsterdam Schipol airport.

Meanwhile, the Franco-Dutch group's low-cost division, Transavia, saw its traffic increase 8.9%, with 0.8 million passengers carried (+2.8%), while cargo traffic increased by 2.9%.
