Kone: wins two orders in China.
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone said on Friday that it has won two orders in China, which is currently the group's main market in terms of net sales.
The company has won a deal for an infrastructure project in Zhengzhou, China's Henan province, to supply 96 elevators and escalators for an infrastructure project comprising of underground highways, a civic cultural center and the extension of the city's metro.
The project is due for completion in 2019.
Kone has also won an order to supply 78 escalators for the new railway station in the coastal city of Qingdao.
While this order was booked in the third quarter of 2017, the new station is not expected to open for the public before 2018.
