Nokia: wins 5G deal in Aruba
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish network gear maker Nokia has won a 5G network deal from SETAR, the number one communications provider in the Caribbean island of Aruba, the company said on Thursday.
Nokia will provide a full end-to-end 5G network transformation, first upgrading RAN access and modernizing elements of the core and data management systems, it said.
This is the first end-to-end 5G deal for Nokia in Latin America, according to the group.
Nokia currently has 55 commercial 5G commercial contracts globally.
