Nokia: signs fiber network deal with Nigeria's Spectranet
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has signed a deal with Spectranet, Nigeria's largest Internet service provider, to bring high-speed access to customers in Lagos and Abuja.
The Finnish telecom gear maker said that it will deploy a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network that will enable Spectranet to provide ultra-broadband services, such as 4K HD video streaming and online gaming, to residential and corporate subscribers in the region.
