Nokia: secures 250 million euros loan for 5G
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has signed a 250 million euro loan with the Nordic Investment Bank to finance research and development activities on 5G, the Finnish telecom gear maker said on Monday.
The loan, which has an average maturity of approximately 5 years, will finance Nokia's R&D program for 5G activities in Europe in 2018-2020, focusing on new end-to-end product offerings.
Owned by Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden, the Nordic Investment Bank provides financing for private and public projects in and outside member countries.
