Nokia: 5G Monarch research project underway.
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced the formal launch of the 5G MoNArch (5G Mobile Network Architecture) project, which is supported and financed under Phase II of the public-private partnership for 5G Infrastructure (5G-PPP).
Under the auspices of the European Union's “Horizon 2020” research and innovation framework program, this project aims to implement architecture of the fifth generation mobile network.
The project's consortium brings together 14 leading industrial and academic institutions from six European countries for two years, and will be coordinated by Nokia. It will have a budget of 7.7 million euros.
