Iberdrola: shares up after positive broker comments
(CercleFinance.com) - Iberdrola was one of the biggest risers on the IBEX 35 this Monday, gaining almost 1 percent at 5.
8 euros, outperforming the Spanish index, which was up 0.5%, following positive broker comments on the stock.
In a note issued this morning, Morgan Stanley maintained its "overweight" rating on the share, with a target price of 8.2 euros, saying that the power group has a "sound long-term plan" which could surprise investors.
"We think the pick-up in hydro volumes in Iberia and new projects in the US could be positive short-term triggers," the broker said.
Iberdrola shares are currently up 0.83% at 5.81 euros on the Madrid Stock Exchange.
