Siemens Gamesa: wind turbine plant offshore from Le Havre
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and HAROPA - Port du Havre have signed agreements for the construction of an offshore wind turbine plant in Le Havre.
The company has said that this is the largest industrial project in the history of renewable energies in France.
The projects will cover a total period of 30 years and have an area of 36 hectares in the Port of Le Havre.
The plant's construction is set to begin in mid-2020, with its commissioning expected at the end of 2021, with 750 people trained to work on the project.
