Siemens Gamesa: to supply French wind farms with turbines
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa said that it will supply offshore wind turbines with a capacity of approximately 1,000 MW for two French offshore wind projects that are currently being developed.
The company said that it has signed a framework agreement with Eolien Maritime France (EMF), with the agreement including a future provision to perform the service for up to 15 years.
The announcement was made as Siemens Gamesa has just completed the installation of turbines in the German Baltic Sea, in record time, for the Arkona offshore wind power plant, that was officially opened today by owners E.ON and Equinor.
