Zealand Pharma: low doses of dasiglucagon effective
(CercleFinance.com) - Zealand Pharma presented two dasiglucagon milestone studies at the American Diabetes Association (ADA) during the weekend.
The research results showed that low doses of dasiglucagon effectively counteracted low blood glucose in people with type-1 diabetes, Zealand said.
Also, long-term safety and tolerability of dasiglucagon have been confirmed during the trial, the biotech company said.
These results support use of dasiglucagon in a dual-hormone artificial pancreas system for automated management of type-1 diabetes, Zealand said.
