Porsche: deliveries up 10% in 2019
(CercleFinance.com) - Porsche announces that it delivered 280,800 vehicles worldwide in 2019, up 10% from 2018.
On the brand's historic market, Germany, and generally across the whole of Europe, Porsche posted the strongest sales growth in 2019, with increases of 15% in both cases. 31,618 vehicles were delivered in Germany, and 88,975 in Europe as a whole.
The volume of sales of Cayenne and Macan models recorded particularly strong growth: 92,055 Cayenne were sold worldwide, up 29% compared to the previous year.
Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, said, "We are optimistic that we can maintain the high levels of demand in 2020 - also thanks to a host of new models and full order books for the Taycan."
