E.ON: to build new wind farm in the US
(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Monday German utility group E.
ON announced the building of a new wind farm in the US, its first wind project in the State of Oklahoma.
The energy group said that the Japanese carmaker Honda has secured all its energy from the 150-megawatt-project Boiling Springs project, under an electricity supply contract.
The farm will begin to be built in early 2020 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
Also note that E.ON has chosen the latest generation of nickel batteries from Saft, a unit of French oil giant Total, for the backup power at one of its distribution substations in Hungary.
