E.ON: extends solar partnership with Google

ON is extending its partnership with Google around Project Sunroof, a platform that determines the solar potential of German buildings.
In Germany, over 10,000 customers have requested a detailed initial analysis of their roof's solar potential, the group said on Friday.
Sunroof will be made available in the UK over the coming weeks, and E.ON and Google are also preparing for its market launch in Italy.
Sunroof's websites combine technologies, such as Google Earth and Google Maps, 3D models and machine learning.
E.ON aims to become Germany's market leader in photovoltaics by 2019.
