E.ON: buys German assets of wind power company Vortex

ON is taking over the German activities of Kassel-based Vortex Energy in order to produce more wind energy in Germany.
Vortex, which has been developing and operating onshore wind farms in Germany since 2004, currently has 300 megawatts of pipeline and a large number of projects at an early stage of development, E.ON said.
The activities of the Vortex in Poland and Belgium are not part of the acquisition, E.ON said.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
