ON is planning to expand its offer of wind service business into the UK and Italy, the German energy group said on Tuesday.
The offers for the two new markets will cover the entire spectrum of operation and maintenance activities for onshore, as well as for offshore operations in the UK, the company said.
E.ON anticipates an increase in demand for overseeing sites, with the warranty periods for many wind farms set to expire.
E.ON has been active in the wind service market in Sweden and the U.S since 2015. Since January 2017 the company's services are also available to wind farm owners in Germany.
