Bayer: Q1 EPS up 36%

(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer has reported a 36.
3% increase in adjusted EPS from continuing operations to 3.53 euros for Q1 2022, and a 27.5% increase in EBITDA before extraordinary items, to 5.25 billion euros.

At over 14.6 billion euros, the German healthcare and agrochemicals group's sales rose 14.3% organically, with substantial growth in agrochemicals and consumer healthcare, and a slight increase in pharmaceuticals.

Bayer said that it is confident, despite major uncertainties, including the stability of supply chains and energy supply, confirming its currency-adjusted outlook for 2022, as published in March.
