Bayer: to support five new health startups

(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer said it will support five new startups as part of a plan designed to foster the development of digital health companies.

The selected partners include Caria, a firm that combines data and AI to connect women in menopause with treatments and personalised health insights, alongside Elly Health, a digital health startup helping people impacted by chronic conditions to live "healthier and happier" through an audio app.

The five digital healthcare companies were selected from over 400 candidates from over 65 countries, the German drugmaker said.

Bayer's "G4A" partnership program offers selected startups up to 100.000 euros in funding to accelerate market uptake, with coaching by Bayer executives, and tailored business acceleration clinics.
