BASF: expands manufacturing capacity in Antwerp
(CercleFinance.com) - BASF announces that it has expanded its manufacturing capacity for ethylene oxide and ethylene oxide derivatives at its Verbund site in Antwerp, Belgium.
The investment adds around 400,000 metric tonnes per year to BASF's production capacity for the corresponding products.
The investment, of over E500m, includes a second ethylene oxide plant worldwide, with purified ethylene oxide capacity.
