BASF: presents new developments at the IFSCC congress
(CercleFinance.com) - At the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) congress, which runs until 22 September, BASF scientists will present new findings and innovations in research methods for the development of effective cosmetics.
These research results include the discovery of an age-dependent decrease in the skin's indigenous bacteria and the development of a cosmetic ingredient that fills this gap with living micro-organisms.
Other research projects include the first application of a new neuroskin-on-chip method designed by NETRI to create a 3D innervated skin model.
