BASF: completes Alabama plant expansion.
(CercleFinance.com) - BASF said it has completed expansion works at an automotive catalyst plant in Alabama, reaching the threshold of 400 million converters manufactured at the site.
The Huntsville plant investment - which began 18 months ago - has enabled the German chemicals group to expand production of emission control catalysts for cleaner air.
BASF opened the Huntsville facility in 1974.
