7 million passengers in September, up 17.8% year-on-year, the German group said on Wednesday.
The airline group, which includes Germanwings, Eurowings, Austrian Airlines and Swiss, said that September passenger traffic in terms of revenue seat-kilometers rose 12.9% to 24.6 million.
The company added that the monthly passenger load factor -- a measure of passenger aircraft utilization rates -- increased by 1.4 percentage point to 83.8%.
