Volkswagen: Audi sales up sharply in August.

3% on Thursday at midday, in demand following the group's announcement of a 5% increase in Audi sales last month.
The brand sold 138,900 vehicles in an unprecedented month of August, with up 10.3% y-o-y in China, 2.8% in the US and 1.8% in Western Europe.
The brand is therefore on the road to recovery in China, where its sales have fallen by 6.6% since the beginning of the year, an underperformance that is the main reason for the 2.6% fall in Audi's sales from 1 January.
