Siemens: 2,200 apprentices to start training in digital
(CercleFinance.com) - Around 2,170 young people are starting their training at Siemens, as the German conglomerate is stepping up its efforts in digitalisation, the company said on Friday.
The apprentices and work-study program participants will begin their professional training next Monday at 20 Siemens locations in Germany alone.
Siemens said it will be training about 1,530 for careers at the company, while a further 640 are from external partners.
The program includes 27 participants in the Berlin international training program.
