Siemens: signs digital partnership with Munich Airport
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens has signed a strategic partnership with Munich Airport to work on the airport's digitalization, the German conglomerate said on Thursday.
Over the coming years, the companies plan to use data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and artificial intelligence to improve the airport's energy efficiency and its baggage handling system.
Siemens will be using MindSphere, its open, cloud-based operating system for the Internet of Things, as part of the project.
