Siemens: Siemens Gamesa wins big contract in China.
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa has announced that it has won an order for power capacity of 300 MW in China, which represents one of its largest orders ever in the world for wind power.
The company will supply 150 G114-2.0 MW turbines to the Xilinhot Complex in Inner Mongolia, a fleet to be delivered by the end of 2018. The agreement also includes the provision of long-term services.
As a reminder, Siemens Gamesa is the result of the merger, at the beginning of April, between the wind activities of Siemens and the Spanish group Gamesa. Siemens holds most of its capital.
