Daimler: Mercedes-Benz posts record US sales in December
(CercleFinance.com) - Daimler's luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz posted record US sales in December, although this failed to prevent the German carmaker from reporting a fall in volumes over the full year.
Mercedes-Benz car sales jumped 10% to 35,203 units vehicles in December, with volume leaders including the C-Class, GLC and GLE ranges.
Over the full-year, Mercedes-Benz sold 337,246 units, down 0.9% from 2016 but still largely ahead the BMW brand, which sold 305,685 vehicles in the US last year.
