BMW: Q3 sales up 6.2%
(CercleFinance.com) - The BMW brand sold 549,941 vehicles worldwide in Q3, up 6.
2% y-o-y.
The BMW brand reports particularly strong demand for its all-electric vehicles; Q3 sales of BEVs doubled again y-o-y (+100.3%) to 83,211 units. Between January and September, 217,138 fully electric BMW vehicles were delivered to customers.
BMW sold a total of 621,699 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles to customers in the period, i.e. +5.8% y-o-y. Between January and September, BMW Group sales climbed to 1,836,563 units (+5.1%).
As previously announced in August, the company expects "solid growth" in deliveries for FY 2023 (vs. "slight growth" previously).
