BMW: group US sales up 2.4% in December
(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group's US sales rose 2.
4% in December to 38,056 vehicles, on the strength of new model launches from the German carmaker's ongoing product offensive.
Sales of BMW branded vehicles increased 4% to 35,746 units, in particular due to strong demand for the new X7 and higher sales for the X5 SUV and the rejuvenated 3 Series.
In contrast, Mini branded vehicles' December sales fell 17.4% year-on-year to 2,310 vehicles.
For 2019 as a whole, BMW Group sales are up 1.8% at 360,918 vehicles.
