BMW: over 100,000 electrified cars delivered in 2017
(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group has announced that it has delivered over 100,000 electrified cars worldwide in 2017, as announced at the beginning of the year, hence confirming its status as a pioneer in mobility.
Harald Krüger, chairman of BMW's board of directors said that since the introduction of the BMW i3 in 2013, the group has already delivered over 200,000 electrified cars to its clients, and that it will offer 25 electrified models to its clients by 2025.
Next year the German car maker will launch the BMW i8 Roadster, followed the MINI Electric in 2019, and then electric version of the BMW X3 in 2020, and then the BMW iNext in 2021.
