Nestlé: to invest 450m dollars in US plant
(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé has announced that it is making a 450 million dollar investment in a new pet food plant in the United States.
The plant is located in Eden, North Carolina. It will meet the growing demand for its pet food.
This expansion is part of a broader growth plan for Purina that last year began with the official opening of the company's new pet food plant and distribution centre in Hartwell, Georgia, it said.
The new Eden plant will join the Purina network, which has 21 production sites in the United States, becoming operational in 2022.
