Dufry: unveils final terms of capital increase

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss travel retailer Dufry plans to raise 820 million Swiss francs (about 760 million euros) from its fully subscribed capital increase, the company said on Tuesday.


The Basel-based group said it offered 24.7 million shares at 33.22 Swiss francs each, as part of the deal.

Dufry said 10.6 new shares have been subscribed by existing shareholders as part of the rights issue.

Simultaneously, 9.2 million new shares have been allocated to US investment fund Advent International, which will now own an 11.4% stake in the group.

The company also said that 4.9 million shares have been allocated to Chinese Internet giant Alibaba, representing a stake of 6.1%.
